Most gutter cleaning in the Gorge is done with a ladder leaned against the gutter, a scoop and a bucket, debris tossed onto the lawn, and someone walking your roof. That method gets gutters clean, but it can dent gutters, scuff shingles, leave a mess in the beds, and put a person on a wet roof in November. We use a vacuum from the ground instead.

HOW THE VACUUM WORKS

A commercial gutter vacuum sits on the ground. Carbon-fiber poles carry the head up to the eave, and the operator watches the gutter through a camera on the pole. The vacuum pulls needles, leaf litter, moss, and standing water into a sealed drum. Downspouts get flushed until they run clear. Where the pole can't reach, we hand-finish from a ladder fitted with a stand-off, so the ladder rests on the roof edge and never bears on the gutter. We don't walk roofs to clean gutters.

THREE THINGS IT CHANGES FOR YOU

  • Your roof and gutters stay untouched. No foot traffic on shingles, no ladder resting on a gutter run, no bent hangers from a ladder set in the wrong place.
  • Your yard stays clean. The debris goes into the drum and is bagged and hauled away in the truck. Nothing lands on the beds or the lawn.
  • You don't need to be home. The photo report shows you everything we found and everything we cleared. Most customers aren't home for the visit.

WHAT THE PHOTO REPORT SHOWS

Before and after photos of every run and every downspout, taken the same way from the same spot. Alongside them is a condition check covering hangers, seams, pooling, and moss, so you know how your gutters are holding up and what they will need next. The photos let you check the work without climbing a ladder.

WHEN A LADDER STILL MAKES SENSE

Tight roof valleys, packed material that has turned to soil, and gutters behind a second-story deck sometimes need hands. When that happens the ladder goes up with the stand-off on, at the spot the photo report will show you, and comes down when the run is clear. It never bears on the gutter, and nobody walks the roof.
